Cleaning Operative (Part-time)

Job Description

Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of daily tasks and will play a key role in the efficient operation currently running at Lennoxtown.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Complete in full daily tasks as instructed by the Cleaning Manager
  • Provide a clean and hygienic work environment
  • Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
  • Deal with any ad hoc requests promptly and courteously
  • Ensure cleaning fluids are used correctly
  • Adhere to PPE guidance
  • Sign off daily checklists and submit to management

Skills and Experience required:

Essential

  • Experience in a confidential working environment
  • Waste management knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, to use own initiative and to work well as part of a team
  • Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work

 

Desirable

  • Previous cleaning experience and use of cleaning equipment preferred
