Job Title Goalkeeper Coach
Reporting to Ryan Grant (Director)
Location The Hunslet Club, Hillidge Road, Leeds, LS10 1BP
Hourly Rate £12.50-£25 per hour depending on experience
Role
We are looking for a qualified (minimum FA Level 2 / UEFA C License) football coach to support the goalkeepers within our Junior Premier League (JPL) football section - Leeds Riverside EFC.
Management Supervision and Guidance
You will be responsible to Kyle Swithenbank (Head of Football) for your daily tasks and duties, and the Ryan Grant in any other matters.
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be working on a part-time basis on either Tuesdays or Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm (negotiable). The goalkeeper coach will lead specific goal keeping sessions for Leeds Riverside EFC U7-U10 players.
The main responsibilities of the goal keeper coach are:
· To grow the football sections goal keeping talent
· To support the development of the female section (progressive)
· To support the development of grassroots coaches and leave a lasting legacy for Leeds Riverside EFC & Hunslet JFC
· To work with a variety of different teams to identify the needs of the coaches
· To mentor and support young goal keepers
· To develop and deliver a programme of support for coaches
· To develop individual / bespoke training plans
· To cover coaching sessions when needed
· To progress players from the development sessions into team sessions
We require a coach mentor with the following attributes:
· Experience of delivering goal keeping sessions to children and young people
· A minimum of FA Level 2 / UEFA C License qualifications
· Capacity to plan their own sessions
· Experience of inspiring children and young people and retaining participants throughout a programme
· A current Enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) certificate and First Aid Certificate, or are willing to undertake these courses
