About BB Soccer

BB Soccer is a fast-growing football academy based in Purley, Croydon, providing high-quality coaching for children aged 4–18. We deliver a wide range of programmes, from grassroots to elite level, including after-school clubs, PPA cover, Saturday academy sessions, and holiday camps.

The Role: Football Coach

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven football coaches to join our expanding team. This full-time position involves delivering engaging, high-quality coaching sessions across various age groups and ability levels. For the right candidate, there are clear opportunities for career progression into senior coaching roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured and engaging football sessions for players aged 4–18 across academy sessions, after-school clubs, and holiday camps
  • Follow BB Soccer’s coaching syllabus while adding creativity and personal coaching style
  • Plan and upload weekly session plans to our central coaching platform
  • Adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities, and group sizes
  • Communicate effectively with parents, players, and fellow coaches
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety
  • Support the organisation and delivery of holiday camps during school breaks
  • Promote sportsmanship, respect, and player development at all times

Working Hours

Term-Time (approx. 30–36 hours per week):

  • Monday–Thursday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Friday: 3:00pm – 4:30pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

Hours increase during school holidays to approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime pay available.

What We’re Looking ForEssential:

  • Experience coaching children aged 4–18
  • FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football qualification
  • Valid First Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • A genuine passion for football and youth development

Desirable:

  • FA Level 2 / UEFA C (or currently working towards)
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in academy, grassroots, or school-based environments
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
