Do your friends describe you as “energetic and entertaining”?  If so, this could be the perfect opportunity to for you!  The Philadelphia Union is seeking an outgoing, and energetic individual to fulfill appearance requests around the community.  The Philadelphia Union Mascot will engage with members of the public in the community to promote the sport of soccer, increase traffic to Subaru Park, and create a more memorable experience for fans.  We want someone to bring our mascot to life!   This position provides a great opportunity to interact with fans and to learn about the operations of a professional sports team by working outside events.  Applicants must be willing to interact with the public and be comfortable around children and crowds.  If you like to make people smile, dance, and play your way through work…this is where you start!  Philadelphia was awarded the 16th Major League Soccer franchise...

ABOUT OUR CLUB Philadelphia Union was awarded Major League Soccer’s 16th franchise in February 2008 and officially launched in May 2009. Owned and operated by Union Sports and Entertainment, the club began its inaugural season in 2010 and opened Subaru Park in June of that year. Located along the Delaware River at the base of the Commodore Barry Bridge, Subaru Park is a world-class, soccer-specific stadium with a capacity of 18,500—just 15 miles from downtown Philadelphia. Since its founding, the Union has built a strong competitive legacy. The club reached the finals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 2014, 2015, and 2018, and has consistently qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs, including appearances in 2011, 2016, 2018 to 2023, and 2025. In 2020, the Union captured its first Supporters’ Shield, awarded to the team with the best regular season record, and repeated the achievement in 2025. Subaru Park is an 18,500 seat, world-class soccer specific stadium that sits beautifully along the Delaware River at the base of the Commodore Barry Bridge and is only 15 miles from downtown Philadelphia. The club quickly earned a reputation for its competitive spirit and passionate fanbase. The Union have reached the  U.S. Open Cup Final  three times (2014, 2015, 2018), appeared in the  MLS Cup Playoffs  multiple seasons, and competed twice in the  CONCACAF Champions League  (2021, 2023). The team captured its first  Supporters’ Shield  in 2020 and then again in 2025 for having the best regular season record in MLS.
