I.Overview The OPDL coach is a part-time employee whose primary objective is to develop players in a fun and challenging environment. Player retention is of the highest importance and the coach should endeavor to provide quality programming to all players. The employee will coach in the OPDL and Pre-OPDL programs. II. This is a 12-month maternity cover position, oering a rewarding opportunity to work with talented young athletes in a structured, player-centered environment. The Nitros Development Program serves players aged 9-10, helping them develop technical and tactical skills through age-appropriate coaching. Our goal is to prepare these players for the next stage of their soccer journey—transitioning into the Advanced Development Program (U11-U12). Coaches work closely with players in Pods, which are organized by skill level, and each Pod trains three times per week, with weekly games.
