JOB TITLE: Grassroots Soccer Assistant Coach in Fergus and Elora
REPORTS TO: Head Coach
OPEN TO: Ontario applicants only
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: (May 2026 - August 2026)
LOCATION: Soccer fields in Fergus and Elora


GRASSROOTS ASSISTANT COACH RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the delivery of Feds house league program for children aged 3-16 and coach when needed
- Work mostly Monday - Thursday evenings in Elora
-Show good teamwork with a group of volunteer coaches and the head coach to lead an engaging
soccer program
-Lead house league sessions by organizing volunteer coaches and players
-Communicate with parents and volunteer coaches in order to run each house league session
-Show good digital skills to send coaching plans, or important news to parents through the digital app
SportsEngine
-Take photographs of house league teams
-Line fields as required
-Other duties as assigned or required


PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience working or volunteering with children
Experience playing or coaching soccer
Making Ethical Decisions (paid for and could be taken after accepting job)
Respect in Sport (paid for and could be taken after accepting job)
FUNdamentals Ontario Soccer Course (paid for and could be taken after accepting job)
Making Headway in Soccer Course (paid for and could be taken after accepting job)
Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Eligible to work in Canada
Age 18 or older


SALARY
$22/hour
15 - 20 hours per week
