Girlz2Goalz is a growing all-girls football academy focused on developing players both on and off the pitch.
We create a positive, high-standard environment where girls can develop their technical and tactical ability, build confidence and enjoy their football.
We follow a structured 12-month player development curriculum, with sessions designed around developing the complete footballer.
We are now looking for a passionate and reliable Girls Football Coach to join our growing coaching team.
The Role:
As a Girlz2Goalz coach, you will deliver high-quality football sessions to girls across different ages and abilities.
You will be responsible for leading engaging, challenging and enjoyable sessions that help players develop and transfer their skills into match situations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality girls' football coaching sessions
- Deliver engaging, challenging and age-appropriate sessions
- Develop players technically, tactically, physically and mentally
- Work on areas including ball mastery, 1v1s, passing, receiving, finishing, combinations, transition and decision-making
- Help players understand how and when to use techniques in game situations
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to players
- Create a positive, supportive and no-pressure environment
- Build strong relationships with players and help develop their confidence
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, professionalism and safeguarding
- Ensure equipment and the coaching environment are safe and organised
- Follow Girlz2Goalz's coaching philosophy and player development programme
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for girls' football and player development
- Has experience coaching children/young players
- Is confident delivering sessions independently
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is reliable, professional and enthusiastic
- Can create a positive environment where players feel comfortable expressing themselves
- Has a strong understanding of player development
- Is committed to developing their own coaching
- Holds, or is working towards, an FA/UEFA coaching qualification
Desirable
- Experience working within girls' football
- High-level playing experience
- FA Safeguarding Children
- FA Introduction to First Aid in Football
- Enhanced DBS
Hours:
Part-time / casual
Typically 2–4 hours per week, with opportunities for additional sessions depending on availability and business growth.
Sessions are week day evenings
Locations
Liverpool, Chester, Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas.
