Grassroots Football Coach (Lead)

Job Summary
NXGN Sports Academy delivers structured, high-performance football development sessions for committed players aged U4+, supporting their progression from our early years programme into grassroots football competing in MYSL & MGSFL in Greater Manchester.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and professional football coaches to join our coaching team in Oldham for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.

The Role

As a Lead Football Coach, you will:

• Deliver structured 60-minute group coaching sessions.
• Coach with clarity, energy and purpose.
• Maintain high standards in session tempo, behaviour and organisation.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to support player development.
• Communicate professionally with players and parents.
• Represent NXGN Sports Academy positively and professionally
• Emphasis on player development and quality learning - 'Developing the person before the player'

Pay & Hours

• £15–£17 per hour
• Friday (Evenings) / Saturday / Sunday (Afternoons)

Additional Paid Opportunities - This role offers the opportunity to build regular, consistent part-time coaching hours with increased earnings and responsibility over time.

• Weekend coaching sessions

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• FA level 1 Minimum or UEFA C licence or working towards.
• Enhanced DBS
• FA First Aid (required)
• FA Futsal (Desirable)
• Experience managing in grassroots football.
• Experience delivering quality football coaching sessions
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Ability to adapt and problem solve
• Punctual, reliable, Trustworthy, passionate and committed approach
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport
• Experience working with players aged U3–U16
