Are you a culinary professional with a passion for nutrition and a drive to fuel elite athletes? We're seeking a dedicated Chef De Partie to join our innovative kitchen team at the Hull City Training Ground in Cottingham, East Yorkshire. This full-time role offers you the chance to work at the cutting edge of sports nutrition in the Premier League, where you'll play a vital part in preparing high-performance meals that help our players achieve their best on the pitch.
Position Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 8 Hour shifts, Monday to Friday (weekend availability)
Location: The Training Ground, Cottingham, Hull, East Yorkshire
Salary/Pay: £28,500 - £30,000
Your key responsibilities
· Serve high performance food to fuel our players & staff
· Work closely with the performance chef & kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
· Organisation of deliveries, prepping, cooking & serving of breakfast, lunch & daily snacks to the team & support staff
· Follow the full daily clean down schedule to maintain our 5 rating (EHO)
· A team player whose input will be required on menu development & ideas; you will go above & beyond to exceed players expectation
· Time management & organisational skills are key to this role working to a tight daily training schedule that varies day to day. A can-do attitude is key.
· Interaction with players & staff, so we are looking for someone who is friendly & approachable
What are we looking for?
· Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
· Kitchen experience: 5 years (preferred)
· Fresh Food Restaurant: 3 years (preferred)
· Cooking: 5 years (preferred)
· Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
· Full training will be given to explain the principles of how & why we offer certain food types on certain days.
