Our Senior Commercial Executive will be responsible for sourcing and engaging a strong set of commercial partners, creating appealing propositions, enhancing and selling our hospitality offering, building an events calendar, and ensuring the commercial department plays a significant role in growing the club’s annual revenues.
Normal place of work: The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

strong set of commercial partners, creating appealing propositions, supporting the enhancement
and sales of our hospitality offering, supporting our events calendar, and ensuring the commercial
department plays a significant role in growing the club's annual revenues.
Revenue and Growth
- Drive revenue growth across partnerships and hospitality, achieving consistent growth and
meeting ambitious targets.
- Identify new income opportunities to support revenue growth beyond traditional streams.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with regular outreach, meetings, and closing
activity.
- Create and maintain reports on revenue, pipeline, and forecasted results.
Partnerships and Business Development
- Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new commercial partnerships across local, regional,
and values-aligned businesses.
- Manage renewals and upsell partners to increase lifetime value and retention.
- Lead partner servicing and activation to ensure contracted value is delivered and partners
want to stay and grow with the club.
Hospitality and Events
- Support in the growth of hospitality revenue through improved proposition, pricing,
utilisation, and retention.
- Aid in the creation and monetisation of commercial events, business networking
opportunities, and non-matchday venue usage.
- Work collaboratively to ensure hospitality delivery and guest experience are at a standard
that drives return bookings.
Data, Insights, and Operations
- Produce compelling sales proposals, decks, and materials tailored to business needs.
- Maintain accurate contract and rights delivery records
- Use data and insight to guide outreach, pricing, and prioritisation of effort
- Enrich customer data to provide deeper demographic and behavioural data to increase
sponsorship value.
Skills and experience
- Strong commercial sales experience with a proven track record of driving revenue.
- Confident seller who excels at outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
- Demonstrable success in converting business relationships into paid partnerships or
hospitality sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to sell at all levels.
- Ability to build and manage a pipeline, meet targets, and stay accountable for results.
- Competitive, resilient, and motivated by financial performance and success.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deals at different stages.
- Experience selling partnerships, hospitality, or commercial products in sport, entertainment,
or events.
- Familiarity with CRM or sales tools.
- Knowledge of the Scottish business landscape.
