THE ROLE
Job Title: Kent FA Emerging Talent Centre Player Development Lead
Salary: £30 per hour
Vacancy Type: Casual Contract until June 2027
Hours per week: Weekly sessions on Friday evenings, term-time only, with the addition of training supplements and fixtures to be added to the delivery. Minimum 3 hours per week.
Location: Aylesford Football Club, Forstal Road, Aylesford, Pavillion, ME20 7AU
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of FA Coaching Level 3/UEFA B or above, with the knowledge and experience working within the girls' football pathway. They will also hold valid and in-date FA Safeguarding Children's qualification and Introduction to First Aid Football (IFAIF) qualification. It is preferable that candidates hold a full driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and embed the technical framework within the centre.
- Ensure individual player development is embedded throughout the programme.
- To ensure players with potential are identified and retained within the Centre.
- Liaise with the relevant coaches to ensure delivery correlates with the weekly topic, and plan accordingly to when goalkeepers would be needed within practices within their group across the 30-week programme.
- To complete player IDP's per block alongside coaches to monitor player development.
- To oversee coaching team alongside Centre Manager.
- Ensure that the Kent FA philosophy and ethos is followed at all times.
- Ensure effective communication between all departments and stakeholders, including parents, is continuous throughout the season.
- To adhere to the FA Safeguarding and equality policies and procedures.
- To adhere to the FA and Kent FA ETC codes of conduct at all times.
- To adhere to the Kent FA ETC Data Protection Policy and Privacy Policy.

Thus, the delivery of the girls' Emerging Talent Centre for identifying and nurturing talented female players in the county and providing accessible training and opportunities for individual development to prepare them for the next steps within the football pathway.

Wembley Stadium
Wembley Stadium is the largest stadium in the UK, and with a capacity of over 90,000 is one of the largest stadiums in Europe. It is the playing venue of the English national team and also hosts such notable games as the League Cup final, FA Cup final, and Community Shield.
The current stadium was officially opened in 2007, replacing the original 1923-built Wembley Stadium which stood on the same site.
St George's Park
St. George’s Park, The FA's National Football Centre, is located in Burton-on-Trent and is an education and research centre giving future generations of English football coaches the fundamentals they need to effectively coach in their communities.
The £105m St George's Park, an impressive 330-acre facility, has 11 outdoor pitches, including an exact replica of the pitch at Wembley Stadium, as well as an altitude chamber that allows them to mimic playing conditions in different stadia around the world.
