Manchester, GB
Based in Manchester, this permanent full-time role supports the smooth delivery of first team operations and player support for Manchester City Women. You will help create a responsive, well-organised and player-centred environment, coordinating the practical detail around football activity while supporting players and their families throughout their journey with the Club.
Who We Are
Manchester City Women is a team driven by ambition, belief and a desire to keep pushing the game forward. Founded in 1988 and relaunched in 2014, we have grown into a consistent force in the women’s game, competing at the highest level in the UK and Europe. Progress, performance and pride sit at the heart of everything we do. With Mancunian roots and a global outlook, we are shaped by our Fans and driven by a long-term vision, from developing future talent to supporting the communities we call home. Together, we are building what comes next, the City way.
Our First Team Operations and Player Support function helps create the conditions for players and staff to focus on performance. From fixture and travel delivery to onboarding, welfare and everyday practical support, the team works with care, discretion and attention to detail across the first-team environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of First Team Operations for MCWFC, you will manage a broad range of activity that underpins the football programme, while helping to develop a personalised and proactive player-support service. Your work will have a direct impact on how effectively players, families and staff experience the Club day to day.
You will take operational ownership of designated home and away fixtures, domestic and international travel, training and team logistics. This includes coordinating transport, accommodation and matchday requirements, anticipating changing needs, working with suppliers and resolving issues so activity is delivered safely, smoothly and to agreed Club and competition standards.
Alongside this, you will coordinate player onboarding and transition, relocation, administration, compliance and lifestyle support, acting as a trusted point of contact for players and their families. You will work across Club departments and with the wider multidisciplinary team to support family engagement, team activities, accurate records and appropriate safeguarding, welfare and security processes, escalating significant concerns when needed.
