We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Night Porter to provide exceptional guest services during overnight hours at our prestigious hotel. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests while maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. Duties

• Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during night hours, ensuring a warm and professional experience.
• Handle guest enquiries via phone and in person with courteous phone etiquette and professionalism.
• Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises and football club to ensure safety and security.
• Manage late-night check-ins and check-outs efficiently, providing accurate information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or issues, resolving problems with tact and discretion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy and welcoming throughout the night.
• Record all relevant information accurately.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery during overnight hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for engaging with guests professionally.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks calmly during night shifts.
• A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining vigilance and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to hotel operations is advantageous.
