Job Description

Based in Lommel, Belgium, this permanent full-time role leads the delivery of Manchester City Football Programs across weekly and school holiday activity. You will play a central part in shaping a positive, well-organised and high-quality experience for players, coaches, families and venue partners, while helping grow the programme with care, consistency and attention to detail.

Who We Are

Founded in 2013, City Football Group is the world’s leading private owner and operator of football clubs, with teams across the globe connected by a shared belief in doing things differently. Alongside our clubs, we invest in football-related businesses and build partnerships that help the game, and the communities around it, thrive. Everything we do is guided by our purpose: empowering better lives through football. Rooted in more than a century of “City” football, we are proud of the role our clubs play locally and globally, creating positive impact on and off the pitch.

Within our Football Education team in Lommel, we deliver Manchester City Football Programs that bring our coaching approach to life in a local context. The team works closely with venues, coaches and families to create enjoyable, consistent and development-focused experiences that support players and strengthen our presence in Belgium.

The Role

This role sits at the heart of our Football Education delivery in Lommel, taking ownership of the day-to-day running of Manchester City Football Programs and helping ensure each session reflects the standards, behaviours and coaching methodology associated with City. You will help create an environment where players can learn, enjoy the game and feel supported, while all partners involved in delivery experience a professional and well-managed programme.

Working closely with the Head of Football Education, you will oversee planning, operations, registrations, logistics, delivery, quality control, reporting and evaluation. You will also support the growth of the programme across Lommel, contributing to new teams, additional venues and evolving programme types as opportunities develop.

The role also calls for calm and confident people leadership. You will manage, train and support coaches across full-time, part-time and casual arrangements, work with internal colleagues on administrative, marketing and promotional activity, and contribute to wider Football Education projects in Belgium. As this role involves working with children and vulnerable people, you will help uphold safeguarding responsibilities and keep relevant internal colleagues informed.
