Job Title: Full-Time Kitchen Assistant
Location: Florence Park Training Ground in Tiptree & JobServe Community Stadium in Colchester
Role Summary
We’re in search of a committed General Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at Colchester United. If you have a genuine love for food and a dedication to delivering exceptional service, we want you on board. While your primary role will be based at the clubs training ground in Tiptree, you’ll need flexibility to cover shifts at the JobServe Community Stadium.
The position involves active participation in all catering aspects at Colchester United, collaboration with our existing team to support meal service and fulfil responsibilities as a kitchen porter.
Job Description:
- Assist the chef with food preparation and cooking as required, serving behind the counter.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness by strictly following the company’s cleaning schedule and operating kitchen machinery.
- Adhere to hygiene standards set by the chef to ensure food safety.
- Prepare the dining room for service according to company standards and ensure its orderly breakdown post-service.

Hours of Work:
Full Time – 40 hours per week
Salary:
£26,436.80 per annum.
