Job DescriptionFootball Coach – Sporting Club Merseyside

Location: South Liverpool
Hours: 5.5-8 hours per week | Evenings & Saturday mornings
Salary: £220–£420 per month, depending on experience and performance

Sporting Club Merseyside is a dynamic and growing football club based in South Liverpool. We provide high-quality coaching, player development and competitive match opportunities across a range of age groups.

We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate football coach to join our growing coaching team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a coach who is looking to develop their skills and progress within a positive and ambitious football environment. You will work alongside experienced coaches, including a UEFA Pro Licence coach, with access to high-quality in-house coach education, mentoring and ongoing development opportunities.

  • Can deliver engaging, well-structured and age-appropriate training sessions
  • Is reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Works well as part of a coaching team
  • Is enthusiastic about learning and developing as a coach
  • Is ambitious and keen to progress within the club

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience coaching children in a grassroots, academy or similar football environment
  • FA coaching qualifications are desirable
  • Enhanced DBS check – we will help you to complete one if required
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and working with young players
  • Ability to commit to the required training and match schedule

Availability

Training sessions:

  • Monday evenings
  • Tuesday evenings
  • Thursday evenings

Matches:

  • Saturday mornings
