Job Description

ABOUT US

Future Girls Soccer United Academy (FGSU) is Canada’s leading all-female elite soccer academy. Based in
Oakville, our mission is to provide an elite, inspiring training environment where young female athletes can
unlock their full potential, build lifelong leadership qualities, and master advanced technical and tactical
foundations. We hold a long-standing tradition of developing hard-working, disciplined, and respectful
athletes, preparing our players both on and off the pitch for the OPDL, provincial pathways, and life beyond
the game

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and highly motivated Technical Competitive Coaches to lead our

the critical Grassroots and Learning to Train stages (U8 to U12). Because our academy is built on the values
of character and commitment, we are looking for coaches who embody these exact same attributes—
individuals who are exceptionally hard-working, highly disciplined, and deeply respectful role models for the
next generation of players.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, deliver, and oversee high-quality technical training sessions in alignment with Canada Soccer’s LongTerm Player Development (LTPD) model and FGSU’s specialized curriculum.
• Lead academy teams during indoor/outdoor league games, festivals, and academy match days.
• Provide real-time, constructive, and sophisticated technical feedback to players to foster individual growth,
resilience, and confidence.
• Maintain excellent, professional communication with parents and academy leadership regarding
schedules, player progress, and expectations.
• Foster a highly competitive, motivating environment that develops both soccer mechanics and lifelong
leadership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Coaching Credentials: Valid Canada Soccer Grassroots certificates (Learn to Train / Soccer for Life) or
higher (C-Licence preferred or actively in progress).
• Background: Strong competitive playing background (NCAA, U Sports/CIS, League1, or international
experience is highly valued).
• Screening: Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience coaching youth players at a competitive or academy level.
A passion for mentoring and empowering the next generation of female athletes is required.
• Availability: Must be available for weekday evening practices and weekend games/festivals in the
Oakville/GTA area for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
