Position Summary:
North Toronto Soccer’s Advanced Development Program provides players aged 10-13 with a
safe, accessible, and stage appropriate environment where players can develop and refine
their skills.
The Advanced Development Program consists of under-11, under-12 & under-13 Age Groups
for boys and girls. Within the Age Group coaches work closely with a select group of players
known as a Pod. Pods are selected based on level of play, but movement between Pods can
be facilitated. Each Pod trains three times per week and plays a weekly game.
Head Coaches are responsible for leading all aspects of team operations including:
● Planning & delivering training sessions according to the Age Group scheme of work
● Coaching games
● Facilitating tryouts
● Providing player feedback
● Maintaining good communication with players and families
● Regular communication with the Manager, Advanced Development Program
Experience & Training:
● Experience working with Grassroots players between the ages of 9-13
● Learn to Train Community Workshop (S4L)*
● Grassroots Diploma - preferred
● Respect in Sport (RIS)*
● Making Ethical Decisions (MED)*
● Making Headway*
● NCCP Emergency Action Planning*
