Job Description

Hours of work: 37.5 hour per week, might include weekends or matchdays
Location: Primarily based at Loftus Road Stadium, W12 7PJ

Job Summary and Objectives

Work within our Commercial and Marketing team to bring to life the creative direction for QPR
across all visual touchpoints. Support the design requirements of all departments within the football
club, using Adobe Creative Suite to produce professional standard, engaging collateral across digital
and print platforms, including graphics for social media, retail, ticketing, marketing promotions, club
branding and merchandise.

 

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Designing and building digital assets, including social media graphics, flyers, retail advertising,
marketing promotions, presentations and newsletters.
• Designing and building assets for print, including stadium signage, large format advertising and
retail promotional displays.
• Supporting the delivery of multiple design projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Helping to maintain our brand identity, ensuring guidelines are followed and assets are kept up
to date.
• Contributing to a consistent look and feel across all QPR graphical platforms, with strong
attention to detail.
• Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts.
• Working with feedback from colleagues to amend and finalise designs.
• Working as part of a team, collaborating across departments to communicate, present ideas and
provide a graphic design perspective.
• Building working knowledge of industry leading software and technologies (e.g. Adobe Creative
Suite).
• Supporting the wider team with design collateral across the club.

Person Specification

• Educated to Degree level in Graphic Design or a related field.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative ability across print and digital design, from degree
projects, placements, internships or freelance work.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop, InDesign and
Illustrator. Hard skills are a must. No generative AI will be considered.
• Able to work with a project brief from start to finish, taking ideas through to completion with
guidance and support.
• A team player with a collaborative mindset, capable of communicating across different
departments and using feedback to improve work.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adaptable to change.
• Well organised and able to manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritise workload
effectively.
• An interest in the football or sports industry would be an advantage.
