Red Bull New York (“RBNY”) are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league’s ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. RBNY’s First Team plays its home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey and its Second Team plays its home matches at Montclair State University. RBNY are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull GmbH, after which the team is named.

RBNY’s First Team is a three-time MLS Supporters’ Shield winner and a two-time Conference Champion, while the Second Team is the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Champion. RBNY also operates one of the nation’s premier youth soccer development programs, spanning local partnerships across New York and New Jersey. Position Summary

The Director, Partnership sales is responsible for being a senior leader of the Red Bull New York Sales team selling significant partnerships across the Red Bull New York ecosystem. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing Partnerships, this role will relentlessly prospect and drive outreach in addition to ideation of strategic assets and creating building blocks for a potential partnership, Separately, this role will engage in a partner-focused, consultative sales approach, identifying and understanding client needs, and delivering creative solutions that drive revenue. 

 

EXPERIENCE

that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a sales support role at a team, agency or client-based within the sports or entertainment industry.  
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing platform integration (digital, event, hospitality, etc.)  
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive, self-starter with high energy and leadership capabilities. 
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced client service environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience  fostering excellent internal and external working relationships. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with data processing, Microsoft Office applications, and social media applications.
