Ipswich Town Foundation is seeking to recruit a full-time Family Activities Co-ordinator to plan and deliver exceptional matchday and non-matchday experiences for children through the power of Ipswich Town Football Club. The role will lead the planning and delivery of matchday experiences at both men’s and women’s home matches and non-matchday experiences such as Birthday Parties at Portman Road.
The Club History:
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club, currently playing in League One, with aspirations of climbing back to the premiership.
The club was founded in 1878 and turned professional in 1936; it was subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. Ipswich won the English league title in 1961–62, their first season in the top flight, and finished runners-up in 1980–81 and 1981–82. They finished in the top six in the English First Division for ten years, apart from when they won the FA Cup in 1977–78.
