Female Football Coach

Location: North Shields & surrounding areas
Hours: Evening sessions (part-time)
Pay: Competitive rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About Us

Game Changer Academy is a growing football coaching organisation dedicated to developing young players in a positive, engaging, and challenging environment. We are looking to expand our coaching team by recruiting a passionate and enthusiastic Female Football Coach to support our sessions across North Shields and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves football, enjoys working with young players, and wants to make a real impact on their development both on and off the pitch.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fun, engaging, and high-quality football coaching sessions.
  • Support the technical, tactical, physical, and social development of players.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes confidence and enjoyment.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and fellow coaches.
  • Assist with session planning and organisation.
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and act as a positive role model.

Essential Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • FA Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1) or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid Safeguarding Children qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between venues in the North Shields area.
  • Availability to work evening sessions during the week.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for helping young players develop.

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous football coaching experience.
  • Playing background in football.
  • Experience working with children and young people.
  • FA Level 2 / UEFA C Licence (or working towards).

Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
