The F2 Academy is committed to developing technically skilled, confident, and creative young footballers through a modern coaching approach that combines both football and futsal. We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and ambitious Academy Football Coach to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with talented young players in a professional and player-centred environment.

The Role

As an Academy Football Coach, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality football coaching sessions to players of varying ages and abilities. You will play a key role in supporting the technical, tactical, physical, and social development of our players while maintaining the academy's high coaching standards.

We are looking for coaches who can inspire young footballers, create engaging learning environments, and contribute positively to our player development pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, high-quality football coaching sessions aligned with the academy philosophy.
• Support the long-term development of players through age-appropriate coaching practices.
• Create a positive, challenging, and enjoyable learning environment.
• Develop players' technical skills, decision-making, confidence, and game understanding.
• Monitor and provide feedback on player progress and development.
• Support academy fixtures, tournaments, development events, and player assessments.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of all players in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with players, parents, and fellow coaches.
• Act as a professional role model both on and off the pitch.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience coaching football to a good standard within a club, academy, grassroots, or development environment.
• Strong understanding of player development and modern coaching methodologies.
• Previous playing experience at a competitive level is highly desirable.
• FA Coaching Qualification (UEFA C, UEFA B, or working towards preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop young players.
• A professional, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare responsibilities.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Emergency First Aid in Football (or willingness to complete).

Pay: £12.21-£25.00 per hour
