The Aston Villa Foundation is the official Charity of Aston Villa Football Club and prides itself in being innovative in its approach to the club being used as a ‘Force for Good’.
The Engagement, Sport & Wellbeing Division is newly formed, complimenting the organisation’s new 2024-28 Strategic Plan. The Engagement, Sport & Wellbeing Division brings together several departments, all of which contribute to providing a landscape of opportunities for children and young people in a variety of education, development and learning settings.
This is an existing role for an individual who is experienced in Project/Programme delivery, who is flexible, motivated, and passionate about using sport and physical activity to improve lives. They will have a proven track record in planning and delivering impactful projects with a health, fitness and wellbeing focus for children, young people and adults.
The Health and Wellbeing Officer (Engagement, Sport & Wellbeing) will support the Health and Wellbeing Manager and Coordinator to lead community-based activities promoting physical and mental wellbeing, build partnerships with local organisations, and support effective monitoring and reporting to demonstrate impact.

We’re looking for someone with:
A Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in a health or sport-related area
Experience delivering health or wellbeing programmes
Excellent communication and engagement skills with diverse communities
Strong organisational and administrative abilities
The ability to regularly work evenings and occasional weekends
