Working within our dedicated catering and performance team, you will help create an environment where players and colleagues can perform at their best every day. You will be part of a collaborative kitchen culture that values creativity, consistency and attention to detail.

 

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality meals tailored to the nutritional and performance needs of Manchester City Women. You will contribute to menu planning, food preparation and service delivery while helping to maintain exceptional standards across the kitchen operation.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, elite sporting environment where collaboration is key. You will work closely with colleagues across catering, performance and operations to ensure players and staff receive an outstanding dining experience both at the training ground and during travel.

You will also support stock management, supplier coordination and food safety processes, while continuously looking for ways to improve kitchen practices and service standards.

What You’ll Bring

Experience working within a professional hospitality or high-performance catering environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across a busy kitchen team
Confidence supporting menu development and preparing high-quality dishes to specific nutritional requirements
Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP processes
Organised approach with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and service demands
Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences with creativity and attention to detail
