Club vision: to play football at the highest level. Bristol City is a widely respected institution within English football, defined by its stability, rich heritage, and a proven track record of elite player development. Looking ahead, we aren’t simply aiming for a place in the top flight; we are committed to being "Premier League Ready" in every sense. This means building the sporting, commercial and operational foundations necessary to compete at the highest level and sustain that status over the long term. When we achieve our goal of playing in the Premier League for the first time, it will be transformative not just for the club, but for the city of Bristol itself.

Job mission: to drive new sponsorship sales by maximising the club’s assets, helping the club to continue being financially sustainable while reinvesting into Football Success and Developing Talent

To be accountable for the club’s new business targets in achieving annual sponsorship budgets.

Contribute to creating an optimal sponsorship structure and portfolio of brands to maximise revenue from the club’s assets – including kit branding, LEDs, digital and matchday activation, the Robins High Performance Centre and association with the club’s IP.

Grow and maintain a pipeline of prospective brand partners, fostering relationships that deliver new sponsorships over the short and medium term.

Ensure accurate pipeline reporting through the club’s CRM, consistently updating all prospects, meetings, next steps, probability, deal value and close dates.

Develop go-to-market strategy and narrative, identifying brands with a strong fit with BCFC, understanding each prospect’s business challenges and building tailored partnership solutions.

Lead, prepare materials for and deliver client pitches that are authentic to the club and articulate how we can deliver ROI for each brand, reflecting their business and partnership objectives

Build strong relationships across the club and Ashton Gate, developing credible, deliverable and compelling partnership propositions.

Work with the Partnerships Relationship Manager to ensure a seamless client journey from sale of a sponsorship through to delivery and activation, as well as supporting the renewal of existing partners.

Identify new assets and revenue growth opportunities to upsell and expand existing partnerships.

Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement in commercial systems, processes and practices.

Experience required:

Strong track record in business-to-business sales, ideally in sport and/or sponsorship.
