Ilkley Town AFC Women are looking to appoint a driven and passionate Female Assistant Manager to support the continued development of our First Team competing in the North East Regional Women’s Football League (Southern Division).
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive club with a clear vision, excellent facilities, and a strong commitment to the women’s game.
The Role
Working closely with the First Team Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery and development of the team both on and off the pitch.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of high-quality training sessions
- Assist with matchday preparation, organisation, and in-game management
- Provide tactical input and player feedback
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and player-focused environment
- Contribute to recruitment and player identification
- Support individual player development and performance reviews
About You
- Female candidate (to support the women’s environment and player experience)
- Passionate about developing players and the women’s game
- Coaching qualifications (or working towards) preferred but not essential
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Committed, reliable, and aligned with a team-first culture
