Job Advert – Football Coach & Education Tutor (Full-Time) – Pro Elite United Birmingham

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Full-time (Daytime hours, aligned with our scholars’ timetable)

About Us – Pro Elite United

Pro Elite United is one of the UK’s largest and fastest-growing football feeder organisations, with a proven track record of developing players and progressing them into professional clubs across the UK and Europe. To date, we have successfully bridged over 53 players into professional football.

We currently operate highly successful full-time football college programmes in Manchester, Darwen, and other regions, and we are now expanding into Birmingham as part of our national franchise growth.

Our programmes combine elite football coachingstrength & conditioning, and academic study, helping 16–19-year-old scholars progress both on and off the pitch.

The Role

We are looking for a committed, passionate, and reliable Football Coach & Education Tutor who can deliver both practical football sessions and classroom-based learning to our scholars.

You must be able to commit to our weekly daytime schedule and be confident working in education environments with young people aged 16–19.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering high-level football coaching sessions aligned with our Pro Elite United curriculum.
  • Leading academic delivery (classroom-based sessions) using a structured syllabus.
  • Supporting student development, welfare, attendance, and progression.
  • Supervising matchdays, training analysis, and player development plans.
  • Upholding safeguarding, behaviour standards, and professional expectations at all times.
  • Representing Pro Elite United values and contributing to the growth of our Birmingham franchise.

Requirements (Essential):

  • Level 3 AET / Teaching Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in education settings (schools, colleges, training providers).
  • Football coaching qualifications (FA Level 2 / UEFA C minimum preferred).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to deliver both practical and academic content confidently.
  • DBS Enhanced (or willing to obtain).
  • Ability to commute to Birmingham reliably.

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering BTEC/Sport courses.
  • Strength & Conditioning knowledge.
  • Experience within football academy or youth elite environments.
  • Safeguarding & First Aid Certificates.
