JOB SUMMARY The Academy Performance Coach will develop and implement strength and conditioning training for D.C. United’s academy teams in accordance with the academy’s curriculum, periodization, objectives, and values. They will work in conjunction with head coaches, goalkeeper coach, athletic trainer and other teams in the club to maximize the potential of each player, and the efficiency of each session. The Performance Coach will be training sessions, matches, and tournaments. They are also expected to test and improve each player’s physical qualities in relation their current playing level and what the next level will require.
