About The Role Salford City FC Academy is seeking caring, responsible and supportive host families to provide a safe and nurturing home environment for our 16–18 year old academy scholars. Host families play a vital role in supporting the personal development, wellbeing and educational success of our young players. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, clean and comfortable bedroom for the scholar. Provide nutritious meals (breakfast and evening meal as a minimum). Offer a supportive and welcoming family environment. Support scholars with daily routines, including travel planning and time management. Our ideal host family provision will be able to offer young players a stable, safe and comfortable family environment. Young players like all young people require support to ensure good mental health and wellbeing, for elite youth footballers this is also imperative to their performance on the pitch. At Stockport County FC we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment for player growth and development. We want our players to fulfil their potential as people and players.
