We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. Duties
- Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients.
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring all items are ready for use.
- Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently.
- Restocking supplies and ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for chefs and kitchen staff.
- Adhering to all food safety standards and hygiene protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with kitchen safety practices and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary.

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
