Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. Duties

• Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring all items are ready for use.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently.
• Restocking supplies and ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for chefs and kitchen staff.
• Adhering to all food safety standards and hygiene protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous.
• Familiarity with kitchen safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service principles within the hospitality industry. Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
