Who we are

Total Football has been supplying customised clothing for over 20 years. We now work with more than 120 clubs, schools and businesses across the east of the country and beyond, from grassroots football and gymnastics teams to school PE kit and business workwear. We're based on Ransomes Europark in Ipswich, with a shop floor where customers can come and see us face to face.

We're growing, and we want to be the go-to place for customised clothing. Alongside our club customers, we're actively expanding into schools, businesses and every other sport, and our online shop sells everything from footballs to swimming goggles. To keep that going, we need someone out on the ground building relationships with the clubs, schools and businesses we want to work with.

What you'll be doing

You'll be out finding new clubs, schools and businesses to work with us, then looking after them once they're on board. You'll also take over some of our existing customers.

Winning new business

  • Actively find and approach grassroots clubs, schools, businesses and other sports organisations that could benefit from working with us
  • Book and lead meetings with club committees, coaches, PE leads, school business managers and business owners.
  • Present our kit, pricing and service, and put together quotes that win the order
  • Attend club meetings, tournaments, presentation evenings and local events to build our name in the community
  • Keep a healthy pipeline of leads and report regularly on progress

Looking after your accounts

  • Take on a portfolio of existing customers and be their main point of contact
  • Manage each account from first order through to repeat orders, new-season kit and new teams
  • Work closely with our customer service, warehouse and production teams so orders are right and on time
  • Spot opportunities to grow each account, such as training wear, equipment and online club shops
  • Deal with any problems quickly and keep customers updated
  • Keep customer records up to date in our in-house system

Your first six months

You won't be thrown in at the deep end. With the support of our Sales Director, your first six months will be about:

  • Learning our bespoke system
  • Meeting our clubs and suppliers
  • Getting hands-on with the products so you know exactly what you're selling

Room to grow

Our sales team is small at the moment. As the business grows, joining us now could lead to a more senior role for the right person in the future.
