Tir Conaill Football Club is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable coaches to join our growing children’s programme.

Inspired by the connections between Scotland and Donegal, we’re building a community club with high standards and a clear purpose: giving children opportunities and a safe, fun environment to grow, build confidence and enjoy the beautiful game.

For our youngest children, football starts with play. We’re looking for coaches who bring imagination, patience and energy to sessions that children and families look forward to.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering fun, imaginative activities suited to children’s ages and stages of development.

• Helping children build coordination, balance, confidence and basic ball skills.

• Creating a welcoming environment where every child can participate at their own pace.

• Working positively with parents and carers, involving them where appropriate.

• Preparing equipment and keeping sessions safe, organised and engaging.

• Celebrating small achievements and helping children leave with a smile.

Essential requirements

• Minimum SFA Level 1.2 coaching qualification.

• Valid PVG scheme membership for working with children.

• Full UK driving licence.

• First Aid Qualification

• A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.

• Reliability, clear communication and a commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing.

Experience in early years, childcare, teaching, children’s activities or sports coaching would be valuable.
