AFC Bournemouth has come a long way from its Boscombe beginnings. Today, the club is investing for the future and creating opportunities for people to grow with it.
Together Anything Is Possible
ABOUT
Founded in 1899, AFC Bournemouth has grown from its roots in Boscombe into an established Premier League club with ambitions extending far beyond the south coast.
Today, the club is entering another major period of growth. Investment in a new Performance Centre, plans for an expanded stadium, the development of the women’s and Academy programmes and membership of the international Black Knight Football Club group are creating new opportunities both on and off the pitch.
Alongside AFC Bournemouth, the group owns FC Lorient in France and Auckland FC in New Zealand, and holds a majority interest in Moreirense FC in Portugal.

WHY AFCB
From entry-level roles to department heads, there are real opportunities to grow from within.
Chloe McCombie joined in an entry-level role and is now Academy Operations Manager. Justin Bailey is nearly nine years in, two promotions on and in his third role, now as Head of Retail & Brand Strategy.

TRAINING GROUND
AFC Bournemouth’s new Performance Centre represents one of the most significant investments in the club’s history.
Set across 57 acres near Wimborne, the £32 million facility brings together elite football, performance and working environments in one purpose-built home. The site includes 16 pitches, an indoor training area, medical and rehabilitation facilities, and modern office space overlooking the surrounding lake.
Opened to the first team in 2025, the Performance Centre is a tangible sign of where AFC Bournemouth is heading — investing not only in performance on the pitch, but in the people and infrastructure behind it.
