Community Football Coach

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging football training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times
• Plan and deliver structured coaching activities that promote technical skills, tactical understanding, and sportsmanship
• Foster a welcoming environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and respect among players
• Monitor player progress, provide constructive feedback, and motivate individuals to achieve their personal best
• Collaborate with community partners and event organizers to coordinate tournaments, clinics, and outreach programs
• Maintain equipment, ensure facilities are safe and well-organized, and adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Promote inclusive participation by encouraging diverse groups to get involved in football activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, with a focus on football preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with players of varying ages and backgrounds
• Passion for community development through sport and a positive attitude towards fostering teamwork
• Ability to plan engaging sessions that balance skill development with fun and inclusivity
• Relevant certifications in sports coaching DBS. Safegaurding first aid are desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
• Reliable, energetic, and committed to creating an inspiring environment for all participants
