We are seeking energetic and dedicated Casual Football Coaches to lead Mini Robins sessions, engaging children in fun, safe, and educational activities that promote teamwork, coordination, and confidence. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners while developing your coaching skills in a lively, supportive environment. As a Casual Football Coach, you will be responsible for delivering engaging sessions that encourage participation and enjoyment in football, helping children develop fundamental skills while having fun.
Duties
- Lead and facilitate dynamic football activities tailored for young children, ensuring all sessions are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate coaching sessions that focus on basic football skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Create a positive environment that motivates children to participate actively and build confidence in their abilities
- Monitor children’s progress and provide encouragement to foster their development and love for the game
- Maintain equipment and ensure the playing area is safe, clean, and well-organized before and after sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding session updates or concerns
- Support the overall organization of sessions by assisting with registration, setup, and cleanup as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching young children is highly desirable but not essential
- Level 1 Coaching essential (or Equivalent) however UEFA C or UEFA is Desirable.
- Strong enthusiasm for football and working with children to promote physical activity and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively
- Ability to lead energetic sessions while maintaining a safe environment for all participants
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled coaching times on a casual basis
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
