Youth Football Coach

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Youth Football Coach to inspire and develop young athletes through engaging training sessions and team activities. Responsibilities

• Lead dynamic football practices tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants
• Develop training plans that focus on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while maintaining a fun atmosphere
• Teach game rules, strategies, and techniques clearly to young athletes to enhance their understanding and performance
• Foster a positive team environment by encouraging respect, discipline, and collaboration among players
• Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development
• Coordinate with parents, guardians, and program coordinators to communicate team updates, schedules, and player achievements
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety guidelines and promote fair play at all times

Qualifications

• Proven sports coaching experience, preferably with youth or school teams
• Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and adolescents
• Passion for youth development through sports and a commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive environment
• Knowledge of football rules, techniques, and training methods
• Ability to motivate young athletes while maintaining discipline and focus during practices and games
• FA Level 1 Introduction to coaching, either having or willing to obtain.
• FA Safeguarding Children in Football, either having or willing to obtain.
• FA Introduction to First Aid, either having or willing to obtain.

We pay for all courses and for coaches equipment.

Pay: £0.01 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 per week
