Job Description

Superstadium Management Company Ltd (SMC) are looking to recruit dedicated and professional individuals to become part of our matchday CCTV operating team, who play a vital role in delivering a safe and secure environment for all spectators.

Position Type: Casual / Matchday Event Staff

Hours: Casual hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Location: MKM Stadium, Hull HU3 6HU

Your key responsibilities

• Operating CCTV equipment.

• Maintaining good stadium knowledge and being able to track staff and spectators on CCTV.

• Monitoring stadium CCTV systems to ensure the safety team have accurate decision-making information.

• Responding to staff and management requests in a timely manner.

• Liaising with other Control Room colleagues, including Police, First Aid and event management.

• Completing appropriate paperwork and escalating issues where necessary.

• Possessing a good knowledge of each event's policies and procedures.

• Ensuring implementation of the stadium's health and safety, safeguarding and welfare policies to create a safe environment for all.

• Undertaking training when required.

• Monitoring radio communications and emergency telephones as required.

• Maintaining confidentiality regarding information relating to the MKM Stadium and the sporting clubs it represents.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a professional, reliable and vigilant individual who can contribute to the safe and effective operation of the MKM Stadium Control Room. You will have excellent attention to detail, remain calm under pressure and work collaboratively with colleagues to support matchday and event operations. You will be confident in monitoring CCTV systems, supporting incident management and maintaining the highest standards of security and professionalism.

Essential Requirements

• SIA CCTV Licence.

• Previous CCTV monitoring experience.

• Knowledge of the Data Protection Code of Practice relating to surveillance cameras and personal information.

• Ability to work well under pressure.

• Strong collaborator, able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

• Ability to adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of information relating to the MKM Stadium and the sporting clubs it represents.

• Ability to follow instructions from the Safety Officer, Deputy Safety Officer, Supervisors and the Control Room.

• Reliable, punctual and professional in both appearance and conduct.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and security.

• Flexible approach to work, with availability for evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

• Applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience working within a busy Control Room environment.

• Experience working at football matches, sporting events or other large-scale public events.

• Understanding of football crowd dynamics and stadium operations.
