The Role
Wiltshire FA is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Football Development Officer to join our team. It is an exciting time to join Wiltshire FA, as we work towards opening a football-led sports hub in Swindon during 2027.
We already operate a popular facility in Devizes, where we are based.
The successful candidate will lead the continued growth of female football participation in the county, maximising both affiliated and recreational opportunities, as well as growing our Female Coaches Community.
The Football Development Officer will work within the Development Team and will require close collaboration with internal colleagues, as well as leagues, clubs and national partners. This position offers the chance to be part of a forward-thinking team, committed to making a real difference in the grassroots game.

What we can offer
Founded in 1884, Wiltshire FA is the not-for-profit, football organisation for Wiltshire. We grow participation, promote diversity and inclusion, and uphold the integrity of our national game for everyone to enjoy.
With around 1,400 teams and over 23,000 players of all ages and abilities playing in the county, Wiltshire FA is proud to support football for all.
Our purpose is two-fold, to improve the experience of all involved in Wiltshire football - be that players, coaches, officials, or volunteers - and to extend our reach to deliver positive change in all sorts of settings.
We are convinced that sport and physical activity can deliver considerable social value and we want to play our part in all our communities, working with others, to address issues like health inequalities, crime prevention, loneliness, social cohesion, and more besides.
