About the role

Reporting to the Head of Inclusion, Culture & Accessibility, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of accessibility support for disabled supporters and visitors.

You will coordinate matchday accessibility operations, , oversee accessible facilities, and work collaboratively with teams across the Club to continually improve the supporter experience.

As a key advocate for accessibility, you will help ensure the Club meets its obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and aligns with industry best practice, Premier League expectations and UEFA accessibility standards.

What you’ll do

As an Accessibility Coordinator you will:

• Coordinate disability access and inclusion support across Newcastle United matchdays and events.
• Manage supporter casework, feedback and requests for reasonable adjustments.
• Coordinate the Quiet Viewing Area and Sensory Room provision, accessible car parking spaces and other accessible services.
• Oversee the successful delivery of the Club's Access Pass scheme.
• Support, brief and coordinate Accessibility Officers and wider inclusion support staff.
• Maintain accurate records and case management activity through RecordMY.
• Analyse supporter feedback and accessibility data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partner with teams across Supporter Services, Box Office, Safety & Security, Hospitality, Venue Operations and Safeguarding to deliver an exceptional supporter experience.
• Build positive relationships with disability organisations, supporter groups, football clubs and governing bodies.
• Attend matchdays, events and selected away fixtures to support accessibility operations and supporter needs.

What we’re looking for

• We're looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion and committed to removing barriers for disabled people.
• You will bring:
• A strong understanding of accessibility, disability inclusion and the practical application of the Equality Act 2010.
• Experience supporting disabled people and a genuine commitment to positive supporter experiences.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience handling sensitive enquiries professionally and confidentially.
• Confidence using systems, managing records and using data to inform service improvements.
• The ability to coordinate and support matchday staff and volunteers.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and supporter welfare.
• Experience within sport, football, live events, customer service or venue operations would be highly advantageous.
