About Soccer HQ Chorley

Soccer HQ Chorley is a fast-growing football coaching organisation providing high-quality coaching and player-development opportunities to children across Chorley, Leyland, South Ribble and the surrounding areas.

We work with players of all abilities — from children taking their first steps in football through to players involved within professional academy environments.

Our programmes include:

  • Weekly development centres
  • Small-group technical coaching
  • 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 private coaching
  • Fast Fire Futsal
  • Grassroots team coaching
  • Holiday football camps
  • Birthday parties and football events
  • Player-development and progression opportunities through our relationships with grassroots and professional clubs

At Soccer HQ, our coaching is built around three things:

ENERGY. PASSION. DETAIL.

We want every child to enjoy coming to football while receiving high-quality, age-appropriate coaching in a positive and professional environment.

The Role

As Soccer HQ continues to grow, we are looking to add experienced, enthusiastic and reliable football coaches to our team ahead of the new season.

We are particularly interested in coaches who can take ownership of sessions, engage confidently with children and maintain consistently high standards.

This is not simply about turning up and delivering a session.

We want coaches who bring energy from the moment players arrive, care about developing young players and take pride in the quality of their coaching.

There are opportunities for regular weekly hours across our programmes, alongside additional work during school holidays, events and future programme expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, structured football coaching sessions
  • Coach players across different ages and ability levels
  • Deliver technical practices, ball mastery, 1v1s, small-sided games and match-related practices where appropriate
  • Create an energetic, positive and enjoyable environment
  • Adapt sessions and coaching interventions to individual player needs
  • Build positive relationships with players and parents
  • Maintain excellent standards of behaviour, professionalism and safeguarding
  • Work effectively alongside other Soccer HQ coaches
  • Represent Soccer HQ professionally at all times
  • Follow Soccer HQ session structures, coaching principles and standards
