Academy Head Coach
About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Academy Head Coach to help build a culture of excellence, accountability, and long-term player development across our club. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves developing players, collaborating with staff, and continuously pushing standards forward.

Player & Team Development
- Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with our playing philosophy and style of play
- Evaluate individual and team performance and translate insights into actionable development plans
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to create, implement, and update each player’s Individual Development Plan (IDP)
- Collaborate across age groups to ensure consistent player progression throughout the academy
Performance Analysis & Game Preparation
- Analyze team and opponent performance using video and data tools
- Develop tactical approaches based on performance trends and identified opportunities
- Present findings clearly to players and staff to enhance understanding and execution
Required Qualifications
- USSF B License (or international equivalent)
- 3+ years of coaching experience at U13 or higher in a high-performance environment (or equivalent playing experience)
- Strong understanding of player development principles and modern coaching methodologies
- Experience using performance analysis tools and presenting findings to teams/staff
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Eligibility to live and work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Sports Science, Psychology, Management, Technology)
- Additional “+1” expertise such as sports science, athletic training, video analysis, goalkeeping specialization, or medical background
- Bilingual abilities
- Strong technical skills (Google Drive, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote)
