Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Football Coach to join our club.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality coaching sessions for our juniors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a positive impact on children taking part.

Duties

  • Plan, organise, and deliver engaging football training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, discipline, and technical skills
  • Motivate players to achieve their personal and team goals through constructive feedback and encouragement
  • Monitor player progress and adapt coaching methods accordingly
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participant
  • Supervise assistant coaches and volunteers, ensuring we continue to work towards the best of standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football.
  • Recognised coaching qualification or willingness to obtain relevant certification prior to commencing employment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan programmes that cater for diverse abilities
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire confidence and foster teamwork among players and staff
  • Commitment to promoting fair play, safety, and inclusivity within the club
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required for matches or training sessions
