💷 Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

West Ham United is seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer to support and improve the technology that keeps our Club running.

Working across our stadium, training grounds, and operational sites, you’ll help deliver secure, reliable infrastructure that supports staff, supporters, players, and matchday operations.

💻 The Role


You’ll support a modern infrastructure environment including:

🔹 Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure

🔹 Cisco Meraki networking (MX, MS, MR)

🔹 Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID & Windows Server

🔹 Identity, endpoint, security, and monitoring platforms

Position

Your responsibilities will include:


⚒️ Managing infrastructure, virtual servers, storage, and core services

⚒️ Supporting LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLANs, routing, and network security

⚒️ Maintaining backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions

⚒️ Monitoring performance, resolving incidents, and improving resilience

⚒️ Supporting Cyber Essentials, UK GDPR, patching, and vulnerability management

⚒️ Delivering upgrades, migrations, automation, and technology projects

You’ll provide on-site support during fixtures, events, evenings, and weekends, acting as an escalation point for live incidents.

Requirements

⭐ About You


You’ll bring:

✅ 3rd Line Infrastructure / Systems Engineering experience

✅ Strong Nutanix HCI and virtualisation knowledge

✅ Cisco Meraki enterprise networking experience

✅ Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID & Windows Server skills

✅ Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, DR, and security best practice

✅ A calm, organised approach with excellent communication skills


A full UK driving licence and transport access are desirable.
