Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Foundation Phase Lead Coach at Roehampton Elite FC, located in Greater London. The Lead Coach will oversee the development of players aged 5-11, creating and leading training sessions in line with the club’s curriculum. The role involves designing age-appropriate activities, delivering consistent coaching methods, monitoring player progress, and cultivating a positive environment that inspires young athletes to grow and excel. Collaboration with coaching staff and communication with parents is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Coaching experience with young players and ability to deliver age-appropriate training sessions.
  • Sound understanding of player development principles and grassroots football pathways.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with players, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to design engaging, educational, and fun training exercises.
  • Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., FA Level 1/2 or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices is highly beneficial.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive football environment

Pay: £17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London SW15 5JT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Football coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (required)
