Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Referee to oversee sporting matches and ensure fair play according to established rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make impartial decisions under pressure. Duties

• Enforce rules and regulations during matches, ensuring fair play at all times
• Make quick, accurate decisions regarding fouls, penalties, and game flow
• Communicate effectively with players, coaches, officials, and spectators to maintain order
• Keep detailed records of game incidents and report any misconduct or irregularities
• Collaborate with other officials to coordinate match proceedings and ensure safety standards are met
• Manage timekeeping and ensure the smooth progression of fixtures
• Uphold the spirit of sport by demonstrating professionalism, impartiality, and respect in all interactions

Requirements

• Previous experience as a referee or in a similar officiating role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
• Strong understanding of the rules of the specific sport for which officiating is required
• Excellent decision-making skills under pressure with the ability to remain calm and impartial
• Good communication skills to effectively manage players and interact with event organisers
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required for matches
• A responsible attitude with a commitment to promoting fair play and safety on the field
• Relevant certifications or licences may be advantageous but are not mandatory; training sessions will be available for development purposes

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
