Are you an enthusiastic football coach passionate about improving young talent? An exciting opportunity has opened for a Head Football Coach in the South Yorkshire area, providing the chance to lead and inspire young players across various locations on their footballing journey.

Schedule: 5 Days

Monday - Barnsley Academy High School, Barnsley - 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Tuesday - Astrea Academy High School, Sheffield - 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Wednesday - Clifton Community School, Rotherham - 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Thursday - First Park Academy, Sheffield - 5:30pm - 8:00pm

Friday - Sheffield Park Academy, Sheffield - 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging coaching sessions for primary school-aged children at different locations (weekly evening sessions listed below. During the school holidays there will be coaching hours at one of our holiday clubs)
  • Develop and implement structured football training programs, integrating skill-building exercises, drills, and match simulations.
  • Organize and oversee 12-week development courses and multi-sport camps aimed at nurturing talent and developing a deep passion for sports.
  • Manage administrative duties related to coaching programs, including scheduling, registrations, and maintaining effective communication with parents/guardians.

Requirements:

  • Valid FA qualification.
  • Experience in coaching primary school-aged children is advantageous.
  • Must possess or be willing to work towards FA First Aid and Safeguarding certifications.
  • Paediatric First Aid & Designated Safeguard Lead desirable. Full training will be provided.
  • Essential possession of a valid driving license.
  • DBS checked or willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
  • Commitment to player development and a genuine passion for football.
