Football Performance Analyst Intern (First Team)

 

Barnsley Football Club is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Football Performance Analyst Intern to join our First Team Analysis Department.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity for an aspiring analyst to gain hands on experience in a professional football environment, supporting the day to day analysis of the First Team while developing practical performance analysis skills.

The role will involve:
• Filming training sessions and matches
• Coding and clipping games using industry standard analysis software
• Assisting with pre match and post match reports
• Conducting basic opposition and player analysis
• Supporting matchday analysis operations, including home and away fixtures
• Working closely with analysts and coaching staff to support performance insights

You will gain:
