Job Opportunity: Dragon Academy Football Coach

Due to continued growth at Dragon Academy, we’re looking to add one Lead Coach and one Assistant Coach to support our Mini Dragons sessions (ages 2–4) in RCT.

These sessions are high-energy, structured, and focused on building confidence, coordination, and enjoyment of football from an early age. We’re looking for coaches who are reliable, enthusiastic, and great with young children.

Available Roles:

Lead Coach
£30 per hour

  • Plan and deliver structured Mini Dragons sessions
  • Lead activities in a fun, safe, and engaging way
  • Support player development and session organisation
  • Communicate professionally with parents and staff

Assistant Coach
£20 per hour

  • Support the Lead Coach during sessions
  • Help manage activities and equipment
  • Encourage participation and confidence in young players
  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment

What we’re looking for:

Reliable and professional attitude
Good communication skills
Confident working with young children
Energetic, positive, and organised
Coaching experience preferred (but not essential for assistants)

Session Details:
RCT - Rhondda Sports Centre, CF417SY
2 available hours from 5-7pm , can do 1 hour or both.
Opportunity for additional hours in other areas of south Wales.
