Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Lead Coach to deliver engaging weekend football sessions for young children aged 18 months to 8 years in Newport.

This is not your typical coaching role - this is an opportunity to get paid to play football while making a genuine impact on children's development. Full training is provided, along with a competitive hourly rate.

We are looking for energetic, fun, and reliable individuals who enjoy working with children and can create a positive, high-energy environment where kids can build confidence, teamwork, and a love for sport.

Duties

  • Deliver fun, structured football sessions for young children
  • Lead groups with confidence, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
  • Encourage children's confidence, teamwork, and social development
  • Engage actively with both children and parents
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and punctuality
  • Bring energy, creativity, and fun to every session

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children is desirable (e.g. teaching, coaching, childcare, or similar)
  • Coaching experience is beneficial but not essential (training provided)
  • Confident leading and managing groups of children
  • Energetic, outgoing, and engaging personality
  • Strong communication skills with both children and adults
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • A genuine passion for working with children and making positive impact

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
